New Delhi: A terrorist attack was carried out at Pahalgam, a tourist destination in Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people died tragically in this attack on 22 April. After this, anger was expressed across the country. India was demanded to take strict action against Pakistan. India eventually took revenge on Pakistan. Operation Sindoor was run and 9 places in Pakistan were carried out by air strikes. India carried out airstrikes at 9 places including Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Gulpur, Bijar and Sialkot, Chak Amaru, Muridke, Bahawalpur in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have reacted to this.
Operation Sindoor was run by India at around 1:30 pm. This time Prime Minister Narendra Modi saw full broadcast from the war room at night. At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has praised and congratulated the Indian Army and Air Force through social media posts. Other central leaders have also praised the Indian Army for this counter attack.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote in a social media post that he is proud of our armed forces. Operation Sindoor Pahalgam has India’s reaction to the brutal killing of our innocent brothers. The Modi government is firm to give a befitting reply to any attack on India and its people. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has replied that India is determined to eliminate terrorism from the root.
An official press release was issued by the defense forces following the successful completion of Operation Sindoor. It wrote that, Operation Sindoor: Indian armed forces attacked terrorist camps accurately. The Indian armed forces started the ‘Operation Sindoor’, under which terrorist infrastructure was targeted in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, from where terrorist attacks against India were planned and directed. A total of nine (9) places are targeted.
Our activities are not of focused, measured and incremental nature. No Pakistani military establishment was targeted. India has shown great restraint in the method of selection and implementation of goals. These steps have been taken in the wake of barbaric terrorist attacks in Pahalgam in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizens were killed. The Indian Ministry of Defense said that we are standing on our commitment that those responsible for this attack will be held accountable.
