Indore: WeWomen Hosts Arise Awards To Empower Women, Celebrating The Skills And Achievements Of Women Across Various Fields | FPJ
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): WeWomen Indore organised the Arise Awards Ceremony, celebrating the skills and achievements of women across various fields. The event aimed to recognise their contributions and inspire them to progress further.
The ceremony featured esteemed guests, including Padma Shri Dr Janak Palta, crime branch head Rajesh Dandotiya, Dr Sarita Rao, social activist and AICTSL PRO Mala Singh Thakur and additional collector Jyoti Sharma. Dignitaries encouraged women to support one another and move forward collectively.
Rural women’s participation in development
Dr Janak Palta emphasised the importance of rural women’s participation in development. Rajesh Dandotiya raised awareness about cyber safety for women, while Dr Sarita Rao stressed the need for women to prioritise their health, as a healthy woman plays a crucial role in the progress of her family and the nation. Additional collector Jyoti Sharma congratulated the awardees and urged women to strive for self-reliance.
WeWomen’s events consistently aim to provide a platform for women, offering them free digital resources, networking opportunities and confidence-building initiatives. The Indore chapter moderators-Pulkit Sharma, Varsha Jain, Dr Rekha Sagar Arya, Urvashi Khatri, Shilpa Rajpal and Sapna Shah- led the event, with WeWomen founder Swati Jain from Gurgaon inspiring attendees.
The Arise Awards not only honoured remarkable women but also reinforced WeWomen’s mission to uplift and economically empower them, fostering a stronger, more self-sufficient community.
