The Suburban Railway Users Consultative Committee (SRUCC) Meeting of Western Railway was held recently at Headquarters Building, Churchgate, Mumbai to discuss various matters related to the suburban railway timetable as well as passenger amenities.
According to Western Railway, Prakash Butani, Additional General Manager of Western Railway & Chairman of SRUCC presided over the proceeding of the meeting. The meeting was attended by prominent members of SRUCC. Principal Heads of Various Departments, Divisional Railway Manager of Mumbai Central Division and other senior railway officers of WR were also present.
The key topics discussed in the meeting included additional local train services, expediting construction of Foot Over Bridge (FOB), and installation of escalators at various suburban stations. A fruitful and constructive discussion took place, where the achievements made in fulfilling passengers’ expectations were highlighted, and future plans were also discussed.
