Kshama Misra, President, Western Railway Women Welfare Organization (WRWWO) alongwith Kamlesh Butani, Vice President, WRWWO and Meeta Srivastava, Secretary, WRWWO felicitated 61 outstanding women employees of Western Railway at an event organised at Western Railway Headquarters at Churchgate on 20th March, 2025. The felicitation was organised in the presence of Executive Members of WRWWO.
According to Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Vineet Abhishek, 61 women employees of WR from all Divisions, Workshops and all departments of HQ were awarded for their outstanding contribution with Merit Certificate and Cash Award. Kshama Mishra praised the work of all the award winning women and described them as role models for other women railway employees.
Abhishek added that, WRWWO is always in the forefront to assist railway employees and their families. With this objective, President WRWWO Misra donated 12 channel ECG Machine to Western Railway’s Jagjivan Ram Hospital, Mumbai Central to enhance patient facilities to railway beneficiaries.
