The minimum temperature in north-west India is expected to fall by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next 3 days

According to the Meteorological Department, day temperatures have increased by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius in Madhya Pradesh, Eastern Rajasthan, Odisha and Northeast India in the last 24 hours, while western Himalayan region, western Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand , There has been a drop in temperature in Gangetic West Bengal. In the next 3 days, the minimum temperature in northwest India will fall to 2-3 degrees Celsius, while the temperature in the remaining areas will remain unchanged for the next 4-5 days.

These states will have strong winds and cloudy

According to IMD, cyclonic activity is intense in the northern part of the Bay of Bengal. Due to cyclonic circulation, Odisha will have winds at a speed of 40-60 kmph on February 22-23, as well as strong thunderstorms and electricity. On February 22-23, there is a possibility of storm in the plains of West Bengal and Jharkhand with winds at a speed of 30-40 kmph. Additionally, there is also a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in these states. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Bihar will also have heavy rainfall with thunder and electricity for the next two days.

Hail will also fall with rain.

According to IMD, there will be rain with hailstorm in West Bengal and Odisha from 21 to 24 February. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are expected to rain on 25-26 February. From the night of 24 February 2025, a new western disturbance is likely to influence northwest India. Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand will incur thunder light to moderate rain and snowfall from February 25 to 27. On 26-27 February, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, western Uttar Pradesh and western Rajasthan will be cloudy on 27 February. Karnataka on 22 February, coastal Andhra Pradesh on 23 February will be densely cloudy and there is a warning of rain for the next 7 days in Kerala.
