Weather Update: IMD issued a yellow alert for heavy rains and heatstroke across India

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert warning of heavy rainfall and heat stroke in various regions of the country.

According to weather forecasts, heavy rains are likely to receive heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. A warning of heat wave has been issued in Gangetic West Bengal and parts of Odisha. On Sunday, May 11, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and different areas of Tamil Nadu are also expected to have hot and humid weather.

IMD has also issued a thunder warning with power and strong winds in Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam and other areas.

Delhi weather forecast

According to IMD, Delhi is unlikely to run in Delhi today. The forecast for the national capital includes:

– Very light rain with thunder/electricity
-Fast surface winds at a speed of 30-40 km/h, which will be temporarily increased to 50 km/h.

The maximum temperature is expected to be between 37–39 ° C, while the minimum temperature is expected to be around 24–26 ° C.
