From north to central and South India, there has been scorching heat for the last two days. The month of March began to look like June, but now there is some relief from strong and cold winds. However, this change will be seen only in North India. The heat will continue in Central India and the temperature will continue to increase. This change will be due to the recent western disturbance.

Will you get relief from cold air?

According to the weather forecasting agency Skymet, the temperature in northern plains in the next 3-4 days is likely to fall from 3 ° C to 4 ° C. At the same time, the temperature in central India will increase. Most parts of Maharashtra and Gujarat, especially in coastal and internal areas, can see an increase in temperature from 2 ° C to 3 ° C. This condition may be stable by the beginning of next week.

Why suddenly cold winds started moving?

Cold winds are blowing in North India due to western disturbance. A western disturbance is passing through the mountains of North India, due to which seasonal activities will start decreasing from March 28. After this disturbance, cold winds will blow, which will reach the plains of Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh. These winds can also reach Madhya Pradesh in some parts. Due to this effect, there will be a drop in temperature in these states. But where there is no effect, the temperature will continue to rise.

Delhi weather

Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 36.4 degrees Celsius on Thursday, which is 3.8 degrees above the average of this season. According to IMD, the minimum temperature was 19.5 ° C, which is 1.4 degrees above the average of this season. But today the minimum temperature can be 18 degrees and the maximum temperature can be 33 degrees Celsius. IMD has predicted strong winds in the day on Friday.

Status in other states

Talking about other states, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir as well as heavy rains at some places. Light to moderate rain and sporadic snowfall may occur at some places in Himachal Pradesh. During the next 2 to 3 days, the maximum temperature in some parts of Eastern India will gradually increase and then decrease. Light to moderate rains are expected in Kerala and South Karnataka.
