According to the data of the Meteorological Department, on April 21, Chandrapur in Vidarbha recorded a temperature of 45.6 degrees. At the same time, the temperature in Jharsuguda, Odisha was 45.4 degrees and Brahmapuri in Vidarbha was 45 degrees. Apart from this, there were more than 18 areas where the temperature was between 43 and 45 degrees. In the capital Delhi too, the mercury reached 41 degrees yesterday.

What will the weather be like?

According to Skymet, a western disturbance is moving on the northern hills. Today, there is a possibility of splatter with sporadic rain and thunder. After the weather is clear from yesterday, a light seasonal system is expected to come from 24 to 25 April. There is currently no possibility of pre-monsoon activity in Delhi. Dry weather is expected to live around Delhi from 25 to 30 April. In Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and parts of Gujarat, the temperature can gradually rise from 2 to 3 degrees.

Possibility of rain in these areas

Today, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Northeast India and parts of the Western Himalayas are likely to be splashed with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. Snowfall is also possible at some places in the upper areas of the western Himalayas. Light to moderate rainfall is expected at different places in Kerala, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
