Since now there has been a change in the weather in the country, at some places it is becoming bone-chilling cold and at other places it is snowing. While South India is in the grip of cyclonic storms and heavy rains, North India is in the grip of severe cold and dense fog. In almost all the states of North India, there is dense fog in the morning and evening and the day temperature is falling and the cold is increasing. Air pollution is clearing from Delhi-NCR, but the severe cold has not started yet. Till now the weather will remain dry and normal.

Cold will increase in the plains

This year the heat in the month of November has broken records. For the first time in 8 years, the highest temperature was recorded in Delhi. The minimum temperature was also the highest for the first time in 5 years, that is, the day and night were hot in the month of November. The Meteorological Department estimates that the weather will remain similar in the first week of December also. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry till December 4. You will feel cold in the morning and evening and you will feel warm due to sunlight during the day. There is a possibility of drop in temperature and dense fog from December 5. Today on the morning of 30 November 2024, the maximum temperature was recorded at 23.75 degrees Celsius. The minimum and maximum temperatures during the day are expected to be 12.05 degrees and 26.52 degrees.

How will the weather be in other states?

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of dense fog during the day and night in Uttar Pradesh for the next 4 days. There is a possibility of cold wave in various areas of Central Maharashtra. Cold will increase in the hilly states due to western disturbance becoming active along with the cyclonic storm. Due to this, there will be more winter in the hilly areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand and Western Uttar Pradesh. After December 3, clouds will start moving from the hilly areas.

Due to westerly winds, the temperature will drop and coolness will increase in Bihar, but no significant change was seen in the minimum temperature during the last 24 hours in most parts of the country.
