During the last 24 hours also, in all the northeastern states including West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh, there were strong winds and heavy rains occurred.

The speed of vehicles on the roads slowed down. However, there was not much crowd on the roads due to being a holiday. However, people have got relief from the heat due to sudden change in the weather.
