New Delhi: In most parts of India, a period of heavy rains is being seen, due to which there is a danger of floods and at some places the traffic is being disrupted due to the sinking of roads. Monsoon rains have made the situation worse in a state like Gujarat. In Kerala, schools had to be closed in view of the dire situation.
Torrential rains today led to water-logging in many parts of West Yuli and Uttarakhand. Roads were also obstructed due to falling of many rocks in the mountains. In the northeastern states too, the rains have made life difficult for the people. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain accomp.ed by lightning and thunder in many areas of the country.
There will be heavy rain in these parts
According to IMD, warnings of heavy rain have been issued in many states of India. From Himachal Pradesh to Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, a warning of heavy rain with lightning and thunder has been issued. Apart from this, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand adjacent to UP are also expected to receive heavy rains with strong wind.
Along with this, heavy rains have also been expected in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Karnataka and Telangana. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in western UP and Delhi NCR. The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of lightning falling here, due to which there is a possibility of being careful.

According to IMD, a warning of heavy rain accomp.ed by lightning has been issued in all parts. Water-logged Mastadi village in Uttarkashi district of UP’s neighboring state of Uttarakhand, where further rain is predicted. In view of the possibility of heavy rains in MP, a warning of torrential rain has been issued. There is a possibility of heavy rains in about 25 districts of the state.
