New Delhi. Due to the incessant rains in the country’s capital Delhi during the last 24 hours, there has been an outcry. It has become difficult for people to come out on the road. Not only this, 15 houses have collapsed due to heavy rains. The Meteorological Department had already issued a ‘yellow’ alert for Saturday and Sunday. According to IMD, it is likely to rain in parts of South-West Delhi and Gurgaon within the next two hours. While the temperature is expected to remain between 24 and 30 degree Celsius. Orange and Yellow alerts have been issued in most of the states. IMD said, heavy rain warning has been issued for Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh from July 8 to 9. Yellow alert has been issued in view of heavy rains in some areas of Kerala. Many houses have been damaged due to heavy rains at some places. Delhi Traffic Police said traffic was disrupted due to water-logging at several places in the city.
