‘We Normally Presume That People Elected By Us Are Wiser’ Film Actor Ashutosh Rana On Minister Vijay Shah | FP Photo
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The remarks of people who occupy constitutional positions denote country’s policy. What ordinary people say is just an opinion. This is what film actor Ashutosh Rana said on Monday while answering a question about minister Vijay Shah’s controversial remarks on Colonel Sofia Qureshi.
“Using decent language is our country’s trait. And armed forces are our country’s pride. So, we should protect their dignity and pride. We normally presume that the people elected by us are wiser than us,” he added referring to Vijay Shah.
Rana was in the city for shooting of Hindi film, Mera Ghar. Directed by Nripen JG Mohla and produced by Krishna Sharma, the muhurt shot of the movie was held at Kushabhau Thakre convention hall.
Besides Rana, other star cast of the film Arbaaz Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, Warina Hussain, Vidya Malavde and Love were present.
Pointing out that more films are being shot in MP, he said that the number of airports in the state should be increased as it would save filmmakers’ time.
About his wife Renuka Shahane, Rana said she was an amazing director and actor. “She has directed two films. I want Renuka to make a film with me and direct it. She is currently writing a film for me,” he added.
Former home minister Narottam Mishra and transport minister Uday Pratap Singh were at the muhurt of the film. The film’s choreographer is Oscar award winner Longinus Fernandes. This film will be shot at different locations in Madhya Pradesh.
