Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat emphasized five important changes for unity and social change in Hindu society during an intellectual program. The event was held at the South Point School campus in Barshapara, Guwahati. About one thousand responsible workers were present.

 

Efforts should be made to end discrimination – Mohan Bhagwat

Addressing the program, Dr. Bhagwat emphasized the need to promote social harmony in the society. He said that we consider all Hindus to be one, but discrimination is seen in society on the basis of caste, creed and language. We have to work to end this discrimination. He also said that our relationship with other people in the society should be like our relationship with friends and family members.

The path of unity for Hindu society

Sarsanghchalak emphasized the need to promote friendship and cooperation between various castes, regions and languages ​​in Hindu society. He also talked about promoting Indian family values ​​and said that by preserving Indian traditions in families, society will move in the right direction. Along with this, he also insisted on increasing the collective use of Hindu temples, water bodies and cremation ghats.

Appeal to increase the use of mother tongue

Mohan Bhagwat emphasized the need to communicate in his mother tongue rather than foreign languages. He said that the use of mother tongue will not only increase unity in the society, but our cultural heritage will also survive. At the end of his address, Dr. Mohan Bhagwat emphasized the importance of civil duties. He appealed to all citizens to follow government rules and laws as well as traditional social moral norms. He said, “It is our responsibility to fulfill our duties for the welfare of society.”
