This is a temporary decision: Trump
Trump wrote on social media, “The newly elected President has the right to choose one of the seven desks.” The resolution desk requires minor repairs. Therefore, a C & O Desk is installed on a temporary basis. George H.W. Other presidents including Bush have used that desk. Talking about the resolution desk, Queen Victoria gifted it to the US in 1980. This desk was made from wooden ship HMS Resolut’s wood.
