Television actor Samarth Jurel, who starred in Udaariyaan as Nikhil Kapoor, gained immense popularity after his relationship with co-star Isha Malviya became public when he entered Bigg Boss 18 as a wildcard contestant. He exposed their relationship on national television after Isha repeatedly claimed to be single, which came as a shock to her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Kumar, who was also a contestant on the show.
Recently, Samarth revealed that he has quit daily soaps after being in the television industry for almost 3 years. Appearing on Elvish Yadav’s podcast, he said, “Daily soaps meine bohot pehele chodd diya hai, meine kaafi kum serials kiye hai and jab shuru hi kiya tha, jab mujhe laga ki mujh creatively satisfaction nahi mil pa raha tha. Toh meine chodd diya.”
Further, Samarth said that he was paid Rs 5,000 per day in Udaariyaan, and in his second serial, it was Rs 10,000.
Meanwhile, Samarth and Isha have parted ways in 2024. Isha, in her earlier interviews, stated that they were not unable to come on the same page, and hence, they decided to part ways mutually. Reacting to this, Samarth told Instant Bollywood that there was nothing mutual between the two of them and that it was he who left Isha and not the other way around.
Further, Jurel said that Isha’s mother had earlier told him that her daughter gets attracted to anyone who looks good. He added, ”Uski mom khud bolti thi mujhe, ye iska sirf attraction hai, isko koi bhi pasand aajata hai, isko teen din mein koi bhi pasand aajata hai, sirf dekhne mein acha hona chaiye.”
On the work front, Samarth is currently in the second season of Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment, which also stars Abhishek.
