Aurangabad: Waluj MIDC Police Arrest Four Robbers Involved In Rs 12.5 Lakh Bag Theft In Jalna |
The Waluj MIDC police on Sunday busted a gang of four robbers, which robbed a bag of a trader containing Rs 12.50 lakh at Jalna on Tuesday. All the four accused have been handed over to the Jalna police. The arrested have been identified as College Raju Gaikwad (21), Sachin Harichand Jadhav (22, both residents of Kaikadi Mohalla, Juna Monda), Om Maruti Pawar (18, Chaman Chowk, Malipura, Jalna) and Sumit Shailesh Ghure (Jalna).
According to the details, a cloth trader from Jalna Ghansham Agrawal and his friend Sarfaraz Feroz Khan were going on the scooty in Old Mondha city Jalna city on December 27 at around 9 pm. Agrawal was carrying a bag containing Rs 12.50 lakh. The four accused stopped the scooty and severely beat Agrawal and Khan. They then snatched the bag and fled away. A case was registered with the Sadar Bazar police station.
The Waluj MIDC police received the information that the accused of the bag lifting case in Jalna were hiding in the Ranjangaon area. Under the guidance of PI Krushna Shinde, a police team laid a trap and arrested all the four accused.
The police action was executed under the guidance of CP Praveen Pawar, DCP Nitin Bagate, ACP Mahendra Deshmukh, PI Krushna Shinde by PSI Vilas Vishnav, Babasaheb Kakade, Suresh Bhise, Rajabhau Kolhe, Nitin Iname, Suresh Kuche, Jalindar Randhe and others.
