The forum said that in just 36 hours 60 percent of the users left the visa application process. A large part of this decline was due to travelers living in metropolitan areas of the country such as Delhi and Mumbai, where applications for Türkiye declined by 53 percent. On the other hand, Tier-2 cities like Indore and Jaipur have fallen by 20 percent.

According to the company’s data, visa applications for Türkiye and Azerbaijan in the January-March period increased by 64 percent year-on-year, which is a good start of the year. Visa applications from Vietnam, Indonesia and Egypt increased by 31%. In countries like Vietnam and Thailand, female passengers are applying 2.3 times more than male passengers.
