Virat Kohli landed on the field for Ranji Trophy cricket on Thursday (30 January) about 13 years later. A huge crowd was seen outside and inside the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi to see Kohli. The Ranji Trophy match between Delhi and Railways started on Thursday (30 January) at Arun Jaitley Stadium. In this match, Delhi captain Ayush Badoni won the toss and decided to bowl first. In this match, Virat went on playing domestic cricket for Delhi after nearly 13 years. Meanwhile, there was a tremendous craze of fans outside and inside the stadium about Kohli. The Jaitley Stadium administration was also surprised to see the huge crowd of people.
Meanwhile, there was a stampede in the crowd outside the gate number 16 of the stadium. A couple fell and injured near this entry. A police bike was damaged and many people left behind their shoes.

In the second innings, Kohli was once again dismissed by Bhubaneswar for 43 runs.
