Mahakumbh has started in Prayagraj from 13th January. Many devotees from India and all over the world have taken bath in the Mahakumbh Mela which runs till 26th February. A fan of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli also came to take a dip in this Mahakumbh. The video of this fan, who took a dip for Virat and also prayed for his return to form, is going viral on social media.
This fan’s video has won everyone’s heart. Before watching the video, the fan says, ‘In this holy Mahakumbh, my only prayer to Mahadev is that Virat achieves his best Test form and scores 5-6 centuries in this Champions Trophy.’

Will Virat Kohli play Ranji Trophy?
Virat was recently included in Delhi’s probable squad for the Ranji Trophy. But there is still doubt about his performance in the tournament. Some time ago, Virat was advised by former Indian cricketers Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri that he and Rohit Sharma should exclusively play domestic cricket.
The BCCI also clarified its stand on the matter in a recent review meeting and suggested that players who are available and want to pursue their Test career should play Ranji Trophy. But, Virat is maintaining silence on this matter. Regarding this, DDCA Secretary Ashok Sharma said that players should participate in domestic cricket. I think Virat should play at least one match. DDCA President Rohan Jaitley’s stance is slightly different. He wants Kohli to play Ranji Trophy for Delhi, but believes there are other factors to consider.
