Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star batter Virat Kohli was swarmed by a sea of fans as he landed in Delhi with his teammates ahead of the IPL 2025 clash against the Delhi Capitals on April 27, Sunday. In a video shared on social media, the right-handed batter was accompanied by a handful of security personnel before entering into the team bus.
The 36-year-old is currently the second-highest run-getter in the 18th edition of the IPL, accumulating 392 runs in nine innings at an astounding average of 65.33. With the Royal Challengers targeting their first IPL title win, the former captain’s form will be vital to their chances of accomplishing it.

Delhi Capitals had defeated the Royal Challengers Bengaluru convincingly earlier in the tournament
Meanwhile, the Capitals had convincingly beaten the Royal Challengers Benglauru earlier in the season at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. KL Rahul had starred with an unbeaten 93* as the Capitals gunned down 164 in 17.5 overs with six wickets to spare.
Both Capitals and Royal Challengers are building up to a top-two finish, having registered six victories each in the season so far. RCB, led by Rajat Patidar, have won all of their away matches thus far but the previous victory over the Rajasthan Royals at the Chinnaswamy Stadium proved to be their first home triumph in IPL 2025.
Hence, the Capitals will be wary of RCB in Delhi.
