A spectator invaded the pitch on day two of the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) between India and Australia. In the video surfaced on social media on December 27, Friday, the fan was seen speaking to Virat Kohli before the authorities dragged him off the ground.
A fan had also invaded the pitch during the 2023 World Cup final between India and Australia in Ahmedabad during the former’s innings when Kohli was out in the middle batting. Therefore, a fan on the social media platform of X also argued that it was the same person who had invaded to meet the star batter at the MCG.
