IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets

Virat Kohli’s 100th T20 fifty and Phil Salt’s blazing knock at the top saw Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets. Salt smashed 65 off 33 balls, consisting of five boundaries and six sixes. While Kohli remained unbeaten on 62 off 45 balls after being dropped by Riyan Parag on 7 runs.

Royals batting first posted 173 for 4 in 20 overs on a two-paced pitch at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Yashasvi Jaiswal top-scored for the team with 75 runs off 47 balls. The opener, who was helped by poor fielding effort, stitched a 49-run partnership with Sanju Samson. However, the Rajasthan captain struggled for momentum, managing just 15 off 19 balls.  Shimron Hetmyer also struggled on this pitch, while Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel chipped in with crucial 30s to give Rajasthan a decent total on the board.
