Team India’s batting star Virat Kohli was seen hilariously dancing after the crucial wicket of Tom Latham in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025 final against New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium. In a video surfaced on social media, Kohli had outstretched his hand and grooved to a step to celebrate the crucial breakthrough.

The dismissal affected by all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in the 24th over of the innings as the left-arm batter went for the sweep shot but missed the ball completely. The umpire raised the finger immediately but Latham went for the review. With the DRS indicating three reds, he had to walk back for a laboured 14 off 30 deliveries without any boundaries.

Although New Zealand openers Rachin Ravindra and Will Young went hammer and tongs in the first six overs by hitting a flurry of boundaries, Indian spinners struck back. Varun Chakravarthy started by getting the better of Will Young, while Kuldeep Yadav removed Ravindra and Kane Williamson.

Meanwhile, the Indian captain ended up on the losing side once more when it came to the toss and Mitchell Santner became the beneficiary. The southpaw opted to bat first.
