According to GWR, Jyoti Amge and Rumesa Gelgi celebrated their first meeting with afternoon tea at the Savoy Hotel in the center of London. The two ladies were looking forward to having a great “girls day out” together. They enjoyed delicious tea and pastries together and talked to each other.

Rumesa, at 215.16 cm (7 ft 0.7 in), is known worldwide as the tallest living woman, while Jyoti is the shortest living woman, a title she earned more than a decade ago, at 62.8 cm ( 2 ft 0.7 in). Despite the huge height difference of 152.36 cm (five feet), according to a British reference book, the two became fast friends over traditional English tea and life experiences and a shared love of fashion and self-care.
