Vir Das on Friday morning shared a tweet about how people should not listen and share what’s being told on TV and Twitter (X) about the India-Pakistan war. A netizen tried to troll him, but the comedian gave a befitting reply. The netizen tweeted, “Info wars is also a key part of warfare.. But i don’t expect you to understand that.. It’s too much for that little brain of yours to comprehend.. Go back to doing your crappy stand up.. (sic).”
To this Vir replied, “My admittedly tiny brain is following EXACTLY what my govt is asking us to do to protect real men and women who are at real risk. So with all due respect to conveniently anonymous, self-declared keyboard heroes….You’re not on the front-lines, you’re on a sofa. GTA khel na chup chap (sic).”
Vir Das On Fake News
Vir’s earlier tweet was actually about the fake news that were being spread on TV channels and social media. He had posted, “We have a Foreign Secretary and armed forces that give us timely accurate briefings with facts, restraint and evidence. It could not be more impressive and civilised. Please stop listening to, and sharing, people screaming their lungs off on TV and ’twitter experts’.”
Ashneer Grover Reacts To Vir Das’ Tweet
Shark Tank’s Ashneer Grover reacted to Vir’s tweet and wrote, “The only power blackout needed is of new channel studios in Noida.”

Well, a lot of Bollywood celebs have slammed TV channels for their style of reporting the war news. Sonakshi Sinha posted on her Instagram story, “Our news channels are a joke! I’m so done with these over dramatised visuals and sound effects, the screaming and shouting! What are you’ll doing? Just do your job, report facts as they are.”
