Bangladesh News: The cycle of terrible violence has resumed in Bangladesh. Awami League today announced a nationwide protest, before which violence has erupted in many cities of Bangladesh including Dhaka. The protesters attacked the house of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, popularly known as Bangabandhu in Dhanmandi area of Dhaka.
The attackers brought bulldozers. He set fire to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s house. Thousands of Awami League supporters, activists and leaders were arrested. Today, preparations were made to discontinue transport system in Bangladesh and block highways in many cities.
Awami League had called for major protests against the violence against Awami League leaders and activists by the interim government led by Muhammad Yunus. The situation worsened one evening earlier due to the protests of the Awami League in Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, amidst heavy upheaval, the dismissed former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina addressed supporters of the Awami League Party. He said that the movement started against me in Bangladesh is a conspiracy to kill me. Mohammad Yunus wants to kill me and my sister. If God has kept me alive even after this attack, it seems that there is still a need to do something big. If it had not been so, how would I have defeated death so many times?
