Mirzapur, 9 December (Hindustan Reporter). A rake of 2751.100 tonnes of IFFCO’s DAP fertilizer was received in Vindhyachal division on Monday. Along with this, farmers have been assured that their fertilizer shortage will be met.

Joint Agriculture Director informed that 1512.25 tonnes of DAP has been allocated for Mirzapur, 718.05 tonnes for Sonbhadra and 520.80 tonnes for Bhadohi. He said that there is enough fertilizer available for the farmers in the division and there will be no shortage under any circumstances.

The consignment was unloaded at the warehouse of Mirzapur Railway Station under the supervision of Joint Agriculture Commissioner Dr. Ashok Kumar Upadhyay, Joint Commissioner of Cooperative Department Yogendra Pal Singh and IFFCO Regional Manager Ashish Kumar.
