Narmadapuram (Madhya Pradesh): Ninety-five complaints were heard at the collectorate and orders were issued to work out those plaints. Some residents from Jasarwani village, under Bankhedi Tehsil, submitted an application, demanding the administration to act against drug and liquor addiction in the area.

The villagers said that because the sale of country-made liquor and narcotic drugs has increased, the anti-social elements have been active. The villagers requested the district administration to ban sale of narcotic drugs and liquor and act against the anti-social elements.

Besides they said meat and liquor should be sold beyond the boundaries of the village.
