Vijay Deverakonda starrer Kingdom was all set to release on May 30, 2025. However, the makers have decided to postpone the release date due to tension between India and Pakistan. Vijay took to X to announce the new release date and also shared a statement reasoning why they have decided to postpone the film.
The statement shared by the makers read, “To our dear audience, we wish to inform that the release of our film kingdom, originally set for May 30, has been rescheduled to July 4. We explored every possibility to stick to the original date, but recent unforeseen events in the country and the current atmosphere have made it difficult for us to move forward with promotions or celebrations.”
It further read, “We believe this decision will help us present Kingdom in the best possible way, with the creative excellence and spirit it deserves. We truly value your support and hope to receive your love when we meet you nemas on at the cinemas on July 4. We’re grateful to Dil Raju garu and Nithin garu for their understanding and support in making this change possible. Jai Hind!!”
Kingdom Teaser
The teaser of Kingdom was released in February this year, and it had grabbed everyone’s attention. Fans of Vijay will get to watch him in a never seen before avatar and role, and they are super excited about the film.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead.
Vijay Deverakonda Upcoming Movies
Apart from Kingdom, Vijay has multiple projects lined up. He will be seen in VD14, and SVC 59. There have been reports that for VD14, Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in to play the female lead. However, there’s no official announcement about it. If the report turns out to be true, then this will be Vijay and Rashmika’s third film together.
