Mahashivratri kashi vishwanath baba: Today, on the occasion of Mahashivaratri, saints and saints are celebrating with great pomp in Kashi. More than 10 thousand Naga Sadhu of 7 Shaiva Akharas along with the jayghosh of Har Har Mahadev, riding on Shiva with mace, conch and sword, have reached Kashi to see Vishwanath Baba. Kashi and Varanasi are echoing with the shouts of Shankhanad and Har Har Mahadev. There is a crowd of devotees like Mahakumbh in Kashi.

By nine in the morning, 2.37 lakh devotees had seen Baba. After offering prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple on the occasion of Mahashivaratri, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj of Niranjani Akhara said that the five Akharas have worshiped Mahadev on the occasion of Mahashivaratri. The consecration was also performed at the conclusion of Mahakumbh.

 

Proper arrangement for devotees in Kashi

The officials and police have made strict security arrangements to ensure that there is no inconvenience or dislocation to the crowd gathered at Kashi Vishwanath Dham on the occasion of Mahashivaratri. Barricades were installed for Naga sadhus. Millions of devotees have been standing on the road since night to seek blessings from Naga sadhus. All the devotees have been able to visit the queue peacefully, arrangements have been made and path changes have been made.

After the Mangala Aarti in Vishwanath Dham, the process of worship continues. The temple has six gates. Many Naga Sadhus have rode in horses and vehicles and arrived for darshan. Devotees showered flowers on them.
