In the viral video on social media, when Akshay Kumar came out to vote, an elderly man was complaining to him. The old man said, ‘Sir, I have been taking care of the toilet built by you for the last 3-4 years. But it is iron so it has rotted. So give me that new ring. After this Akshay replied, ‘Okay, we will work on it, I will talk to BMC about it.’
On this matter the old man again said to Akshay Kumar, ‘You have to give the box and I will fit it.’ So Akshay replied, ‘I have given the box but it is rotten so now BMC will look at it, I will talk.’
A toilet was installed after the film
Akshay Kumar’s film Toilet Ek Prem Katha was released in the year 2017. At that time, Twinkle Khanna had posted a picture of Juhu Beach and pointed out that people were defecating in the open.
