There is a deep friendship between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star batsman Virat Kohli and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) veteran wicketkeeper MS Dhoni. Whenever these two legendary cricketers are found, it is not less than a special moment for fans. A similar interesting view was seen at the Chepock Stadium, when RCB defeated CSK by 50 runs in the eighth match of IPL 2025. RCB won in Chepock after 17 years
Talking about the match, RCB scored 196/6 and stopped CSK at 146/8 on the basis of excellent bowling performance. Captain Rajat Patidar scored 51 runs for RCB, while Virat Kohli added 31 runs in 30 balls. Phil Soult also scored 32 runs (in 16 balls).
CSK was scored the highest run opener Rachin Ravindra (41 in 31 balls), while MS Dhoni landed ninth and scored 30 runs in 16 balls. Dhoni hit three fours and two sixes in his innings. Chennai started very poorly, captain Rituraj Gaikwad was dismissed without opening an account, while Rahul Tripathi (5) and Deepak Hooda (4) also returned to the pavilion early.
With this victory, RCB defeated CSK at the Chepock Stadium after 17 years, which became a historic moment for him.
