Congress’s protest against Adani : After the first seven days of the winter session of Parliament passed with great uproar, the opposition’s uproar was seen on the eighth day today. Meanwhile, Congress leaders including Rae Bareli MP Rahul Gandhi and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi raised slogans against Adani-Modi and staged a unique protest outside the Parliament complex. Rahul and Priyanka were seen wearing black jackets with the slogan ‘Modi-Adani Ek Hai’. In America, industrialist Gautam Adani’s Adani Group has been accused of bribery, in view of which Congress protested.
Congress MPs raised slogans
During the protest, Congress MPs raised the slogan ‘Gali gali kinare hai, Modi-Adani chor hai’. Apart from this, slogans like ‘Look towards schools-Adani, look towards roads-Adani, look upwards-Adani, look downwards-Adani’ were also raised.
Rahul attacked Modi-Adani
Rahul Gandhi said during the protest, ‘Will you (government) ever conduct an investigation? Can you do your own research? Modi ji cannot get Adani ji investigated. Because if Modi will investigate Adani, he will investigate himself. ‘Modi and Adani are not two, but one.’
Slogans were raised against Modi-Adani on Wednesday also
The parties of the Indian alliance also protested in the Parliament complex on Wednesday regarding the Adani case. The alliance demanded a joint parliamentary inquiry into the Adani issue. MPs from Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, RJD, Shiv Sena UBT, DMK and Left parties also raised slogans. During this, MPs protested at the Parliament gate with banners written ‘Modi-Adani are one’. TMC did not join the opposition’s protest.
