Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna is just a few days away from its theatrical release. On Wednesday, the duo, who have been busy promoting the film, travelled from Delhi to Shirdi, Maharashtra, to seek divine blessings at Sai Baba’s shrine.

Rashmika, who injured her foot recently, was seen limping and holding Vicky’s hand for support as they walking towards the Sai Samadhi Mandir. The crowd gathered there began chanting Chhaava, Chhaava as soon as they spotted the two stars.

A few days ago, Vicky and Rashmika visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab.

Expressing his experience of visiting the Golden Temple, Vicky penned a note on his Instagram that read, “There’s something about #SriHarmandirSahib! The peace, the divinity, the power of prayer. As we bring #Chhaava to the world, I hope it reflects even a fraction of the strength and devotion this sacred place inspires. Rabb meher bakshe. Satnam Waheguru.”

The action film is based on the life of Maratha king Sambhaji, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Kaushal portrays Sambhaji, who bravely fought against Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Rashmika will portray the role of Maharani Yesubai in the film.

The film is set to hit theatres on February 14, 2025 and is directed by Laxman Utekar. Chhaava is a cinematic adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant.
