Jaunpur, 09 November (H.C.). A team of 08 volunteers -a team of volunteers -for the former Republic Day parade selected from various colleges under the direction of the Ministry of Youth Program and Sports by the National Service Scheme Cell of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University Jaunpur left from the university.

Vice Chancellor Professor Vandana Singh flagged off the Saraswati Sadan of the university. The Vice Chancellor said that by joining the National Service Scheme, the attitude of students towards society and nation will definitely remain throughout life. Service in our mind inspires us to live in a positive way. He congratulated the students.

Dr. Raj Bahadur Yadav, coordinator of the National Service Scheme, said that all these volunteers will participate in the training camp held in BIT Patna from 10 to 19 November 2024. After this, they will be selected for the Republic Day Parade. Senior Program Officer of the University, Dr. Shashikant Yadav, Shia College Program Officer Dr. Awadhesh Maurya, Dr. Tej Pratap Singh, Program Officer Office Minister, Dr. Neeraj Kumar Singh, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Digvijay Singh Rathore were present.
