Jammu, 30 November (HIST). Indian Army conducted Veteran Interaction Program at Chanderkot in Ramban district to develop deeper connect with ex-servicemen as part of its ongoing perception management initiative. During the program the ex-servicemen were briefed about various welfare initiatives undertaken by the Army and recent government policies aimed at their benefit. The ex-servicemen pledged to actively contribute in nation building and guiding the younger generation.
The interaction also served as a platform for ex-servicemen to share their challenges. The Army also took note of their concerns for future solutions. A total of 18 ex-servicemen participated in the event which further strengthened the enduring bond between the Army and its ex-servicemen in the region.
