- 6 teaspoon mustard seeds (ground)
- 1 teaspoon – red chili powder
- ½ teaspoon – turmeric
- 1 teaspoon – lemon juice
- 3 cups – mustard oil (mustard oil)
- Salt – as per taste
Method of making dried carrot pickle: To make dried carrot pickle, first wash the carrot and cut it into long pieces. If you want, you can also keep small pieces. Now let the carrots dry so that all the water present in them comes out. Keep in mind that if there is water in the carrot, then carrot pickle will deteriorate quickly. Therefore, keep the carrot in a cotton cloth so that the remaining water is also absorbed. When the carrot is cooked, add fine ground mustard, red chili powder, turmeric, asafetida and lemon juice and mix well. Then add mustard oil to it. (Heat mustard oil and when it cools down slightly, mix it in the pickle of pickle) Mix the carrot pickle in mustard oil well and then fill it in a glass jar.
You can keep this pickle in the sun for 2 or 3 days. So that the pickle can also get proper sunlight. If you want, you can also use other vegetables along with carrots. After 2-3 days your pickle will be ready and you can serve it with food.
