Worship of Varuthini Ekadashi
Take a bath in the morning and worship Lord Vishnu. Take the resolution of fast and consume satvik diet throughout the day. Salt is not consumed on this day. After the puja, listen to the recitation of Ekadashi Katha and donate it as well. Jagran with bhajan-kirtan at night.
Keep these things in mind in the fast
- Do not eat in a bronze vessel.
- Do not consume non-veg, lentils, gram, kodo and honey.
- Avoid gambling.
- Do bhajan-kirtan instead of sleeping at night.
- Do not drink and drink.
- Avoid anger and lies, stay away from condemnation and bad company.
