Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan became very emotional during the promotion of his upcoming film ‘Baby John’.
In an interview, when he was asked about the most difficult moment of his life, Varun mentioned the demise of his driver Manoj. He said that this incident shook him to the core and changed his life completely.

Manoj was closest to Varun

Varun told that his driver Manoj was with him for the last 26 years.

    “I was a different person before that accident, but after that my whole thinking changed.”

Referring to this tragic incident in Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Varun said:

    • When Manoj’s health suddenly deteriorated, Varun gave him CPR.
  • Took to hospital:
    • Varun immediately took him to Lilavati Hospital.
    • They hoped that Manoj would survive, but it did not happen.

    • Varun said emotionally,

      “Manoj breathed his last in my arms. That moment was the hardest for me.”

    “It took me a long time to recover from this accident. I even left work.”

  • After this incident, Varun did not release any film for almost two years.
  • His upcoming film ‘Baby John’ is going to be released in theaters after two years.

Varun turned to spiritual texts to overcome this difficult time.

  • He started reading Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata, and Ramayana.
  • Varun said:

    “I understood that it is natural for these incidents to shake us, but it is important to move forward in life. You can’t sit back after losing.”
