SSC MTS, Havaldar Recruitment Exam 2025: The final list for the Multi-Tasking (Non-technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) examination 2024 has been released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.
As per the SSC’s latest announcement, this recruitment exam now aims to fill a total of 11,518 vacancies. Out of these, 8,079 positions are allocated to Multi-Tasking (Non-technical) Staff, whereas 3,439 vacancies for Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) posts.
At the start, the commission posted 4,887 open positions, which eventually grew to 6,144. When 3,439 Havaldar openings were included, the total amounted to 9,583. With the newest notification, the total number of vacancies has risen to 11,518.

SSC MTS, Havaldar Recruitment Exam 2025: Exam details
The SSC MTS and Havaldar CBT examination was scheduled for September 30 to November 11, 2023, at various centres across the country. After this, 2,7011 applicants were shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Physical Standard Test (PST) round.
According to the official notice, aspirants who fail the PET/PST will not be eligible for the Havaldar position. Yet, if they apply for the MTS status, their application will remain eligible. The final results for MTS and Havaldar will be published concurrently following the PET/PST round.
The minimum qualifying marks for sessions 1 and 2 of the CBT is 20% for all other categories, OBC/EWS for 25% and UR for 30%.
