Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor recently shared a stunning selfie on her Instagram, earning admiration from her fans and followers. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the striking resemblance she seemed to bear to actress Katrina Kaif in the photo.
As soon as the picture was posted, netizens flooded the comments section with their reactions, with many expressing surprise over the uncanny similarity. Some users even did a double take, initially mistaking Vaani for Katrina.
In the picture, Vaani is seen wearing a beautiful peach floral salwar suit. She opted for minimal makeup and sported a tiny black bindi.

When Vaani said she would love to be compared to Katrina for her beauty
In July 2022, after the trailer of Shamshera was released, people had compared Vaani’s character to Katrina Kaif’s role in Thugs Of Hindostan. Reacting to it, Vaani had said, “She (Katrina) is a wonderful dancer, actor, everything, and I’m glad. If you’re comparing me, please compare me to her beauty. I would be very happy. But I know that my part is written in a different way and the subject in the film is very different from that one.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress was last seen in Khel Khel Mein with Akshay Kumar, Ammy Virk, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan and others.
In October 2024, it was reported that Vaani was shooting in London for upcoming romantic comedy christened Abir Gulaal with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. There’s no update on the film’s release yet.
She will also be seen in Raid 2 with Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh. The film is scheduled to hit the big screens on May 1, 2025.
