The char dham yatra has started in Uttarakhand from 30 April , Millions of devotees from the country and the world are present in Uttarakhand for the Chardham Yatra. Meanwhile, news is coming that five people have died in a helicopter crash near the Bhagirathi river before Gangotri.

 

A helicopter crashed in Uttarkashi district on Thursday (May 8) during the Chardham Yatra. Five people died in this accident. It is being told that a helicopter with seven seats crashed near Gangotri. The disaster management team along with the police and administration has reached the spot. The team is doing rescue work. The aircraft accident bureau, Ahmedabad, will investigate the accident.

On the other hand, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed grief over the incident. He said that SDRF and district administration teams have immediately reached the spot for relief and rescue work. God should give peace to the souls of those killed in an accident and give the power to bewildered families to bear this grief.

The Chief Minister has instructed the administration to provide all possible assistance to the injured and investigate the accident. He said that he is in constant touch with the authorities in this regard and every situation is being monitored. Police, army, disaster management QRT, team 108 ambulance vehicles have reached the spot. Tehsildar Bhatwadi, BDO Bhatwadi and revenue team have also left for the spot. A helicopter has crashed near the Bhagirathi river under the Nag temple near the Ganges.

This helicopter belongs to a private company.

The helicopter was of a private company Aero Trink and had seven people in it. Two passengers were injured in the accident. It is noteworthy that the weather has been going bad in Uttarakhand for the last few days. The Meteorological Department has issued a storm warning for several districts. It is raining at many places on the Chardham Yatra route. There is also thunder hailstorm at some places. The identity of people in the helicopter has also been confirmed. It consists of pilots and six passengers. The pilot is named Captain Robin Singh. Two of the six passengers are women. Their names are Vineet Gupta, Arvind Aggarwal, Vipin Aggarwal, Pinky Aggarwal, Rashmi and Kishore Jadhav.
