Uttar Pradesh: Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority will acquire 13,300 acres in 41 villages

News India Live, Digital Desk: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) in Uttar Pradesh has planned to acquire about 13,300 acres of agricultural land from 41 villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar and Aligarh as part of a major initiative. This acquisition is being done for the development of the region as an investment hub near Noida International Airport.

Land will be purchased directly from farmers under the scheme

Yeida will buy land directly from farmers, so that farmers will get fair price of their land directly in their accounts. After the acquisition, farmers will be allotted plots in the population area within three months. According to Yeida, on the day the farmers do the land, they will also be given an allotment letter of the population plot.

New investment centers will be built in Greater Noida and Aligarh

Yeida CEO Arunveer Singh said that the authority has selected 36 villages in Greater Noida and 5 villages of Aligarh for this project. A total amount of Rs 5,000 crore has been fixed for this land acquisition, while the total budget is Rs 9,200 crore. He also said that a logistics hub will be constructed in Aligarh, which will promote industrial development of the region in the future.

Preparation to provide all facilities in one year

Arunveer Singh has assured that all necessary basic facilities on the acquired land will be developed within one year. This will accelerate the economic development of the region and will become an attractive place for international investors.

There will be development in 6 districts under Yeida

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority is active in six districts of Uttar Pradesh – Gautam Budh Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra and Hathras. This new acquisition will create a strong base for industrial development in the region.
