A big step has been taken to further strengthen rail connectivity in Uttar Pradesh. The plan to lay a 30 km long railway line between Kasganj and Etah districts has got the green signal. This railroad was being demanded for a long time, and now this dream is moving towards realizing.
This project will not only improve the facilities of passengers, but will also increase in business activities.
Railways will connect in detail big stations like Tundla and Agra
The construction of Kasganj-Eta railway line will provide direct connectivity from important junction stations like Tundla and Agra in UP. This railway line will also connect with Nadarai of Etah to the main railway line of Mathura, which will further increase the strategic importance of this route.

The Railway Board has given instructions to speed up the process.

After the completion of the survey, the process of land acquisition has started.
Land acquisition process starts – land of 20 villages will come in acquisition
A total of 20 villages of Kasganj and Etah districts will be acquired for construction of rail line.

4 villages of Kasganj district: Kuramai, Bankner, Barela and Nasratpur

174 Gata (land unit) will be acquired in these villages.

The remaining 16 villages are in Etah district.
The Revenue Department has started the work of land verification, and proposals have been sent to the tehsils.
Procedure of notice and objections under Railway Act
Notices will be issued under Section 20A of the Railway Act before land acquisition. Under this:

Objections will be sought from the landlords within a month.

Appropriate decisions will be taken after listening to objections.

The process of acquisition will be completed by paying compensation in the final phase.
