Another important and vision initiative has come to light towards strengthening the traffic management and infrastructure of the Uttar Pradesh government. The process of construction of the proposed NH-727B bypass from Nawalpur to Sikandarpur in Ballia district has got the green signal. NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) has started the process of land acquisition on Friday, which has led to the construction work.
6.9 km long and 45 meters wide bypass

This bypass will be 6.9 km long and 45 meters wide.

It will be constructed from Karmouta to Ballia-Sikandarpur Road in Sikanderpur-Baltra Road.

This will reduce traffic pressure in Ballia and surrounding areas and will provide relief from traffic inside the city.
Land acquisition and leveling work fast

NHAI identified the land in March 2025 and the revenue department immediately started distributing compensation.

Bhuswamis of many villages such as Karamouta, Balidadpur, Chak Thakurdwara, Bhanti, Chandpur, Banhara, Sandwapur, Chak Bhadikara, Pandah and Dhaneja have been compensated.

Earlier, the work was stopped for some time due to the wheat crop, but now the work has started after harvesting.
Six junctions will be 50 meters wide, service lane will be made

There will be 50 meters wide junction points at six places on this bypass.

Service lanes will be constructed on both sides to connect villages, which will provide facilities in local movement.

6.5 feet in the initial place

11–13 feet in other places

Sikanderpur Nagra Road and Rajwaha will have height up to 23 feet.

The construction work is being monitored by the R&C Infra Engineering team.

Work is being done under the supervision of engineer Pramod Yadav, who is paying full attention to the quality and deadline of the project.
