Uttar pradesh news: Another mega project has started to give Ayodhya a new pace of development. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued a big step and notification for land acquisition for the construction of Green Field Expressway. This high-speed forelane access controlled corridor will be built between Ayodhya to Sultanpur, which will not only ease the journey, but will also strengthen economic and basic development in the region.
52 villages of three tehsils will be affected
For this ambitious project, land of 52 villages of three tehsils of Ayodhya district – Bikapur, Sadar and Sohawal – will be acquired:
- Bikapur Tehsil: 39 villages, including Chaure Chadauli, Randauli, Baitikala.
- Sadar Tehsil: 5 villages, such as drypur itaura and Birauli.
- Sohawal Tehsil: 8 villages, including Madhupur and Palia Risali.
Ban on change in land use
Additional District Magistrate (Land Records) Arun Mani Tiwari has directed the concerned Tehsildar and Deputy Registrar Amrita Jaiswal to keep the land of the villages involved in the notification stable with immediate effect.
- That is, now the purchase-sale, registry or change in the purchase of land in these villages has been completely banned.
- This order has been issued to keep the acquisition process clean and transparent.
The corridor will be 150 meters wide, the drone survey is done
A few months ago, a drone survey for this expressway from Katka (Sultanpur) to Ayodhya has been completed.
- The total width of this corridor is proposed to be 150 meters.
- The affected villages are located 3 to 5 kilometers east of the Ayodhya-Prayagraj highway, that is, this new corridor will pass through the rural areas adjacent to the main highway.
