When both of them came to know that the police were looking for them, both of them got scared. In the end, the woman herself reached Duboulia police station and told her identity to the police there. After this, the Basti police informed the Gonda police and returned to Gonda with a team of Khodare police station.
During the police interrogation at Khodare police station, the woman said that her mental condition is not good. That is why she went with the young man. Now she wants to go back home with her husband. Additional Superintendent of Police (Eastern) Manoj Kumar Rawat said that the woman has been handed over to her husband and further legal procedures are being completed.
