The speed of development in Uttar Pradesh is now going to intensify. The central government has approved the 112 km long forelane highway from Kanpur to Hamirpur. This highway will come out through Kanpur, Fatehpur and Hamirpur districts connecting 96 villages. The total cost of this ambitious project has been estimated at around ₹ 3700 crore, out of which ₹ 2000 crore will be spent only on land acquisition.
700 hectares of land acquisition process started
The process of acquiring 700 hectares of land has been started to carry forward the project. NHAI Project Director Aman Rohilla said that the revenue number of 96 villages is being received by contacting the revenue officials of the concerned districts. Under this process, information about land acquisition is being taken from each affected village so that it can be implemented as per rules.
Public troubled by 40 thousand truck-dumper daily will get relief
The road from Naubasta to Hamirpur is currently in a very shabby position. Every day on this route, about 40 thousand trucks and diapers go from Kabrai to many cities of UP like Kanpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Lakhimpur. Excessive traffic pressure and poor roads have become a problem of accidents and traffic jams for people.
Both trade and traffic will get boost from Fourlane Highway
This new forelane highway will not only make traffic smooth but will also speed up trade, construction materials, and other industrial activities. The special thing is that it will start from highway ring road in Ramipur and will be found in Chhatarpur Highway near Kabrai, which will serve as a parallel transport corridor.
Emphasis on land acquisition and environmental approval
It was informed by NHAI that the process of taking approval from the Forest Department for land acquisition has also been started. As soon as this process is completed, the work of land acquisition will progress loudly. All documents and permissions related to it are being prepared so that there is no legal obstruction.
