There has been a major accident in Pennsylvania, USA. A small plane carrying five people crashed here. Officials said an aircraft carrying five people crashed outside an airport in suburban Pennsylvania.

 

According to a report by the news agency Associated Press, all five passengers survived the fire, although no information has been released about their situation. All the people on the aircraft were taken to local hospitals. While many vehicles were set on fire. The accident occurred at 3 am in Manhem Township at 3 am in about 75 miles (120 km) west of Philadelphia.

‘Turned into fire shells’

Eyewitness Brian Pipkin, who was driving nearby, told the Associated Press that the aircraft suddenly turned to the left and then fell down. He immediately turned into a fireball. Pipkin immediately called 911 and reached the spot. In his video footage, black smoke rises from the rubble and many cars were seen on fire. The three -storey residential building survived in the accident.

The fire brigade car reached the spot.

After receiving the information, a fire engine reached the accident site in a few minutes from Lankaster Airport. After this, additional emergency teams also reached. Due to the scorching heat and smoke, it became difficult for fire fighting personnel to control the fire. About a dozen vehicles were damaged in the accident.

The accident will be investigated.

According to the flightware, the aircraft flew from Lunkaster Airport to Springfield, Ohio. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said it would investigate the accident. Aircraft accidents have increased in the US since January.
